Works without problems (even boot)
Some of the CD-ROM covers need a bit of plastic modification (they are ready for it).
There is no way to screw the frame (it has a different mounting than most drives). On its own, however, it holds onto the connector quite well (so far).

Functions without a problem
Really fits the newer thinner shafts
For ASUS X550VB does not quite fit. The original drive was a bit shorter, so the cover sticks out of the notebook when it is inserted
The notebook has a different drive attachment (1 screw from the top), but it holds even without it (by fitting exactly, and by the connector)

Tlusty tails to attach to the notebook, the original bits are useless, because they do not reach the turn. You could use the included screws to attach the tail of the cd-tree, but there are only two of them and you need them. If they'd put 4, it would have been great. Fortunately, I dug up some similar ones at home.
At first I had problems with the fact that I could not format the SSD in the SSD frame - some macbooks need to put the hdd in the hdd frame and instead of the hdd ssd and then it goes
