If you want to make loose tea without the smell of a metal, plastic or paper sieve, filter, then this teapot is practically the only way to achieve this. Everything is made of glass.
Many people complain about clogging the sieve, bad holes, poor pouring with a lid.
The correct procedure is:
1) Insert a glass filter into the empty kettle 2) Pour boiling water up to a height of approx. 4 cm from the upper edge, this corresponds to approx. 1 liter of water. You can' t make any other amount of tea! At lower levels, the tea will not be brewed properly.
3) wait for it to cool down to 80 ° C if the tea requires it 4) only now pour the appropriate amount of tea to the water level in the sieve. the tea floats on the surface of the water and does not clog the strainer holes at the bottom.
5) immediately cover with a lid.
6) Now watch for 4-10 minutes what is happening in the kettle. Gradually you will find out why this procedure is the only correct one and you will curse the manufacturer for not adding instructions for use.
You can slowly raise and settle the strainer several times to make the tea leach better. If you burn yourself with hot steam, it is a sign that you are not doing it right.
7) after the right time of infusing the tea, take out the strainer with the tea leaves and cover the kettle with the lid.
8) when pouring tea, remove the lid, pour without the lid, then cover again.
Although it may seem to some that the instructions are for young children, it is really absolutely necessary to follow this procedure. Then you will not have the negative experiences mentioned here in some comments.
