the cable is only in the connection so if someone wanted as a reduction to another diagnostics is connected only to 4 for engine diagnostics in the cable there are only 3 cables so it is not even suitable for modification. It can't do anything but impale the notor drive

Picked up today and tested straight away. Vehicle: C-Klasse 1999 W202 C180 Automatic 5-speed.
Test kit: Chinese Delphi Clone with software 2015 I ordered and purchased as a kind of experiment to see if the reduction is functional. I can recommend to all owners of older MB with 38pin connector. Of course, I have only a Chinese clone of Delphi diagnostics, which is enough for such "home chewing" initial determination of the cause of the problem. I was only able to load the engine unit, which is also the most important thing, but the comfort units, automatic, brakes, etc. Unfortunately, the reduction won't load.
