We wanted a powerful but quiet fan with a damper and without unnecessary electronics, sensors and some timers because we have a smart home and we wanted to connect the fan to a smart relay or smart dimmer. Both types of switching work nicely. Since we are comfortable with single/maximum speed and the motor has a smooth start, the smart switching relay is sufficient. Due to its simplicity of having a motor directly on 230V and being electronics free, we have supplied the electronics (smart relay) as per our need and it is part of our smart home.

it has very good air extraction - it ventilates a 20m3 bathroom very quickly, we even notice how it doesn't have all the gaps when the door is closed, and with the door open it pulls the steam away in a few minutes

has a simple reverse flap and it works percussively most of the year

this fan of ours has a motor directly on 230V without any electronics, so we even tested the speed control with a smart dimmer on the lights and it is beautifully smooth to control. But we use it with a smart relay switch as the fan has a smooth start and we needed the smart dimmer for the lights.

the return flap is just a simple plastic one and 2-3 times a year we get smell from neighbours from other flats. But we turn on the fan and in a few minutes there is no smell. If we wanted to address this completely, we would of course add some sort of check valve with a gasket. But 2-3 times a year we really don't mind. Just mentioning this for those who would be interested and it would be a crucial parameter.
