Although cheap compared to big name brands and somewhat easy to put together it is very worrying to me how warm both the adapter and the LEDs themselves get during normal operation.

Terrible workmanship, remote control completely non-functional even after changing batteries. Due to the bonding of the LED tape, the lamp cannot be split non-destructively. Its functionality cannot be verified before assembly. In a word, a birthday horror. Do not buy this waste at any price.
nothing
