For amateur home photography it is perfectly acceptable. The photo has perfect colors, focuses well and doesn't have too many features so it's quick and easy to use. You can quickly switch to shooting video, which is also very good quality (of course it's not 4K, but it's watchable even on a big TV). The battery has a pretty good battery life (you can buy a spare). In the package is a cable to the PC at the same time with the charger.
The only thing I have noticed is that saving one photo after pressing the button is not the fastest and sometimes it can happen that you do not take a photo in quick succession, but it is about 2 sec which is enough for home use. I recommend buying a memory card and case, which is not included.
