It bothers me a bit that if there are devices nearby that have already connected to the speaker and you're the one playing music, the other devices can interrupt your connection. I'm not aware if there is any option to leave a stable connection for just one device. The only thing that works is holding down the 'bluetooth' and '-' button to clear all paired devices.
I've had about 4 different speaker from Sony and I'm still satisfied.
