I am quite satisfied with it.
It has a lighter weight and the input for the 3.5 mm jack works well.4K DISPLAY is simply a Sony. A little mp3 player and a phone together.
The battery is weaker but I'm used to Samsung always charge in the evening. Sometimes it is hidden by what you charge!

Practically the only phone that does not come with a thoughtlessness such as a cutout in the display, missing 3.5mm jack, missing sdcard slot, rounded corners of the display, etc. SONY is a company that deliberately segments the phones with SW features and even during the support period you will not get news from new models.

This phone is unique in its design, which is readable at a glance. The overall concept of the phone has been perfected in every way.
I also appreciate the 4K display, which is unique in the smartphone category. A big innovation in the field of photo and video is the use of a folded 1'' sensor, which opens up new possibilities for shooting e.g. when shooting fast-paced sporting events, fast-moving subjects.
In the area of video, I must highlight the ability to shoot in 4K at 10-bit colour depth at 120 fps using the S-Cinetone profile.
Battery management is one of the phone's strengths. The three-day endurance is a great advantage in standard use.
This phone will be appreciated by anyone who prefers minimalist design, functionality and creativity.

On the morning of 4.7.22, I brought home an Xperia 1 IV, which I promptly returned due to overheating (see review), thinking I'd rather wait a year. The wait was worth it, I can say that I am satisfied. The phone no longer displays messages about high temperature and feature limitations. The performance is quite sufficient and the endurance with the increased battery capacity is also sufficient. The phone is relatively light for its size, it is quite easy to hold, although the edges are a bit sharper (I "survived" the year with Xperia 1III, which has rounded edges), the back cover has a special scalloped structure, but fingerprints are not visible on it. 1TB card works in the phone without problems, dual SIM support is possible, but one is eSIM. A little bit of a pity is the missing indication LED, but the phone is about a thousand cheaper than last year's predecessor - that's probably the reason. The phone has a brand new camera (previous Xperia II - IV models had the same chips). The sound output from the speakers is very good and in headphones really excellent. I also received headphones with the phone, so the price was more or less acceptable, without headphones it is very high. And the headphones themselves - that's for another story. Some buyers are criticizing the two-year-only support, but by that time the Sony Xperia 1 VII will already be up for grabs
