I got what I wanted, a nice phone with a good battery from Sony. Admittedly, it's certainly not the best mobile in this price range, but it's definitely unique and I like it.

It does not come with a charger and a usb c cable, but I am sure we all have many of those lying around, and since the battery lasts long you will not find the need to urgently charge it. (Any phone charger will work. I usually charge it on my desktop screen or laptop while working). Fingerprint reader on the side of the phone works like a charm. If you have an issue getting a clear read after inserting the case, just add your fingerprint twice (i.e. 2 inserts for the same fingerprint)

I bought this phone as a replacement for the Xperia XZ1 Compact because the XZ1 is discontinued and the new Xperia is one of the smallest android phones on the market today. The new xperia feels light in the hand, even though it is 30g heavier than the XZ1. The resolution is much better. It is held similarly to the XZ1, it is only 2mm more in width, but it is 3cm in height and that is really noticeable, I can no longer reach the upper left edge with one hand and sometimes the phone falls over me because of the height. I was very satisfied with the XZ1, so I' m glad that the new Xperia is similar: durable waterproof construction, notification LED, fingerprint unlock button. unfortunately the camera button is missing, I really liked that and thanks to it I have photos that would not be possible without the quick launch. The battery is almost twice as big, but the display, RAM and more powerful processor are bigger. So far, the battery has lasted me a maximum of 2-3 days, even the Xperia with 2700mAh could do that. The 21:10 display is probably good for movies, but in most applications, e. g. youtube portrait or waze, unusable. The camera isn' t the best, but I guess I can' t compare it to the Samsung for 30k. It takes better pictures than a 5-year-old phone, that' s enough for me for the money. Hopefully they will make a Compact version again sometime
