The phone is great with high-end features and will satisfy even the demanding user. The joy is the audio jack, fast charging and especially the top-notch camera. But when shooting 4K video, the Telepfk can start to overheat just like other processor-intensive activities. Otherwise, there is not much to complain about and it is almost a perfect device.

I was worried about the phone thanks to various reviews where it was criticized for overheating, however, I liked it very much, I had it on the lookout for a long time thanks to its features such as the notification LED, unique desgin, jack, memory card slot and above all the excellent display without a cutout or a hole. I was planning to get this year's generation 5 V, however, the design is very bad and the improvements over the 5 IV are minimal and there are some concessions. Personally, I have encountered excessive heating during fast 30W charging, when the phone when charging and using at the same time and not demanding like to reduce the refresh rate of the display and further prolonged due to temperature also charging, which then takes from 0-100 quietly 2 and something hours with the original charger. When the frequency has decreased, it is usually after a system update and subsequent reboot, which can also warm up the phone. Further, when the phone heats up, so is of course gaming, which starts perfectly, however, again due to the temperature, after some time throotling, when it occurs eg. when playing CoD, minor lag, a slight jerk, then the game continues to run smoothly for a few minutes until the next minor jerk. I did not achieve the reduced display refresh rate when playing. Recording 4k 120 FPS video was absolutely smooth in home conditions, we'll see what happens in the summer. What I have noticed is that compared to the previous phone, the Huawei P20 Pro doesn't have as good 4G signal, with the phone being able to range from 0-3 bars of signal in the same place according to the indicator. The same behavior is the same with 5G, GSM and 3G signal is perfect. I must point out that despite the oscillating indicator, I never had a problem with phone calls. What is a complete mockery is the intensity of the flashlight. The brightness of the LED is really poor, but it works great when shooting as a flash. It is a pity that the luminosity of the flashlight is limited in this way. What is also annoying is the small internal memory, which nowadays fills up very quickly. This can of course be expanded thanks to the memory card slot, however, here comes another pitfall, when most applications can not work with the card. So the card is suitable for music, videos, photos and e.g. maps for navigation (Here, Mapy.cz). It's also a shame that you can't use the full potential of the cameras when recording to the card, so forget about recording 4k 120 FPS videos, you'll get a maximum of 4k 30 FPS, or FHD 60 FPS. Another very bad feature is the random unlocking of the phone in your pocket. I have activated the unlocking of the phone by double tapping on the screen, which is the main stumbling block. Of course, I have simultaneously activated a function to prevent accidental use when the device is in a pocket or bag, but despite the perfectly functional proximity sensor, the phone unlocks and likes to do what it wants in the pocket. The previous Huawei had this protection on a completely different level, and over the years of use, it happened a few times that it unlocked in my pocket. On this phone, it's several times a week. Yet this is a SW issue that Sony could certainly easily improve upon. In order not to just reproach the phone, it is otherwise a very good device, what I appreciate, so its dimensions and especially its weight. The phone doesn't feel cumbersome and even when watching movies, the weight doesn't make your hand hurt: ) The cameras are also very good, what's worse is shooting on auto in poorer conditions, when it takes longer to save the photo, so you can take a nice slick photo. The display is very good, it is beautiful to look at and the stereo speakers sound very good. The aspect ratio is odd, but it's very addictive and functional. Then you'll find the other phones to be overgrown monsters. Despite some of those ailments, I am very satisfied with the phone and I can recommend it further.

The matte backs look very good and presentable, they really don't make prints. The display elongated, given that I was used to a display under 5 inches, I had a bit of a problem with the first grip. And they call this phone compact, by the way. but it fits nicely in your pocket. Android is clean and runs briskly, how about that, but when initializing the phone, the first major updates, turning on the camera got pretty hot - even popped up a message about overheating the phone. However, I don't notice any heating during normal operation and load (I'm not a gamer nor do I use the phone to watch movies in high quality). The fingerprint reader is brisk, accurate. The battery lasts me without a problem all day, it would last longer but I charge the phone at night (the package does not include any accessories or charger - if you want to charge wirelessly you have to buy a charger). Photos classic Sony - color faithful photo without embellishment, who likes more colorful and overexposed photos, should look for competition. The price was hurting and I would have rebuilt a larger internal memory. But unlike the competition, Sony still offers an SD card slot of up to 1TB. And that's what made me prefer the Sony over the Samsung S23 in the first place.

Again, the worst Xperia in years.
It overheats and constantly disconnects from wifi. Sony support is unable to resolve this in 8 months.
