I had a previous pair of the same brand Soundpeats Air 3 that were very comfortable until I accidentally washed them: D So logically I decided to try Air 4, but I was wrong. The manufacturer has gone the route of active noise cancellation ANC, which should "improve" the sound. But the quality without the ANC on is about 100 times worse than the previous type, and even with the ANC on it is bad (it just closes the sound more and emphasizes the bass). They just totally fucked up the basic sound itself at the expense of development and ANC apparently. Or I just got an inferior piece (which is also possible with these smaller brands). Anyway, I'll look elsewhere. Returned.
