Even though we only use silicone tools to work with the toaster, after less than a year of use the black paint came off and now everything burns immediately. I don't even want to know where it went (probably into the food prepared in the toaster) = it's not scratched or peeling off, just disappearing!
After a year of regular use, the device is ready to be thrown away. Bane, I can use the interchangeable pads, which I don't need.
