The face material is definitely not Pollar Fleece, but some kind of thin, rather thick fabric, through which the underlying aluminium foil shines through. The blanket is quite stiff (slabby) and stuffing it in the washing machine would be the end of it I would guess. It can be wiped with a damp cloth.

The blanket perfectly insulates from the ground - from cold and moisture. It sits/lies very well, has a pleasant surface. It folds up perfectly into a practical package, which is equipped with a hand and shoulder strap. Unfortunately, holes were immediately made in the lower side (some plants with harder stems pierced it immediately), I would have appreciated a slightly stronger base layer. Otherwise, absolute satisfaction.
