The previous model was a Suunto 7, which I had for 3 years, then I tried a Garmin Venu 2 and found the system and watch not to my liking (why do I need to know my stress level). the important thing for me is that the flashlight lasts for hikes through nature, which they fulfill for the price of 6500 bravely. Suunto will always be a heartthrob for me

I can see everything I need on the main screen while running
can be paired with a bluetooth chest strap, measures with it when running, otherwise uses wrist heart rate measurement
display perfectly legible even in direct sunlight
sufficient backlight brightness, at night I use it as a small flashlight: -)
