It holds really tight and reliable. I only have the seal sandwiched between the back cover and the phone, yet even when bouncing around city potholes, the phone doesn't budge. Despite the adhesive force, there is no problem when taking off the mobile, it still holds firmly in place without movement and as it was set. The attachment in the ventilation grille does not bend the slats in any way, yet they hold really surprisingly firmly considering the dimensions. Total satisfaction.
