for a model with 4 discs, the best consumption I have seen for such products
the supplied fans are cheap oem and are not even close to a silent design, and in addition they are already “creaky“ when delivered, so they have to be replaced immediately, but at least it' s very easy, just buy a new one, preferably a different/quiet one, and then a short manual intervention at exchange and that' s it
a small mistake when deciding to buy, among the parameters it was mistakenly stated that the memory can be expanded, but it is not possible for the Synology DS418 model, except for the higher DS420
