Great NAS, replaced the previous DS 418, but it turned out that the DS 418 didn't support migration, so the data had to be moved manually and everything recreated. Compared to DS 428 it is much faster, after adding 2x 500 GB SSD and 10 Gbps networking it is a good cannon, reading and writing is around 750 MB/s (DS 418 had about 130 MB/s). Totally awesome for heavy use at home and at a decent price. RAM expanded to 32 GB with two Kingston modules and working smoothly.
