For someone "small" current (3A) for a 12V battery, which means that a large battery with a lot of discharge will charge parts

it is intelligent, it can be connected to the battery nonstop, it ensures continuous charging and discharging in regular cycles and thus significantly increases the life of the battery, an excellent feature especially for batteries used seasonally, e.g. for motorcycles, also excellent is the permanent connection via the tail, then it is possible to connect the battery by a plug-in module at the end of the cable /without spokes/, which can be brought to a more accessible place and it is not necessary to dismantle the various covers, or the whole battery outside the vehicle.
