Otherwise, no problems. when filled, i.e. 5 to 5, there is no "splashing of water" as others have reported. It is purely technical and logical reasoning which others somehow lack.
There is no problem if the prescribed doses are followed. Just put less water when filling, i.e. 1 to 1 ratio.
Speed of cooking and quality of cooked rice.
With fewer doses give more water than I have indicated.

rocker switch = does not need to be pulled out of the socket to stop heating up like other brands
rice well cooked, not overcooked
the pot is shallow enough, so that when 2 cups of rice are cooked at a certain stage, you have to wipe the water off the lid = you can't make more rice in it
the steamer is placed in the rice bowl, not above it = it takes up half of the bowl
