Unusable, the 5ghz network just creates from the 2.4ghz it connects to. It can't connect to the 5ghz from the router. In addition, often the device can not give the ip address so the network is not possible. Useless scrap

Although it indicates a weak router signal, it actually picks up and forwards it without any problems.
We have a big house with thick, honest walls. We have an O2 Smart box and in some of the more remote locations, not all devices were getting the wi-fi signal (mobile, printer). One extender of this model solved the problem.
It has its own network different from the router, but it can switch between the end devices (mobile) automatically, so there is no problem.
