Portable.
Quickly prepared and harvested.
Pretty good maintenance (we haven't tried the dishwasher yet).
Hilarious design.
Reasonably large barbecue area. We could fit 2-3 people in there all at once.
It packs nicely back into the box and fits in with the additional lid (separate accessory). The box has a nice carrying handle and is foldable.
It's not entirely true that the grill doesn't smell. It's a grill, there's a fire burning. Smoke can occur at rest, especially during ignition.
The centre of the grill is logically at a higher temperature, so you need to keep an eye on the food, especially in the middle. If it drips juice onto the centre lid above the coals, it can burn and smell just as much as if it had dripped onto the coals themselves. But of course it's an order of magnitude cleaner.
The grill is designed for charcoal and gel kindling. Other types of kindling or barbecue briquettes are not entirely suitable (the manufacturer even forbids them).
Without an additional grill lid, it is significantly harder to maintain the temperature, so I consider the lid to be an almost essential accessory.
If you want the grill to cool down faster, you need to pour the hot coals somewhere aside, for example into the fireplace. However, there are no pliers in the accessories for this, so you will need another tool to safely carry and empty the charcoal tray.

the tongs for lifting the charcoal cap are made of hot conductive material without a handle, but that's a minor detail
