unsatisfactory, I thought that the thickness setting would be solved e.g. rings not a cam system where you have to hold the roller firmly in position

If you keep an eye on the size, you can sometimes even get the dough to be about the same height everywhere
The dough behaves differently than when the roller is wooden
You have to roll smaller doughs because of the dough height adjustment, otherwise you're trimming

I expected specific numbers (sizes) to be fixed. Well, they're not. Thus the roller must be held by hand at the position of a specific number while the roller rotates on its axis.
Overall, an unfortunate and impractical solution because it is very easy to slip to another number while rolling the dough.
I do not recommend the product because it did not meet my expectations.
Not recommended for the dishwasher either
