The ultima pots are nice, they have a relatively flat bottom, so almost the whole surface touches the hob. The water boils as quickly as in other pots. I bought the pot because of the positionability of the lid, so that water can be poured from the pasta through the widest spare. I appreciate very much the ULTIMA pots that have lids with a low handle and there is no problem when storing in the refrigerator.
I was a little disappointed when you put the lid in the handle holder, so the water overflows through the halyard on the lid onto the hob.
