Cast iron conducts heat really nicely and heats evenly

The pot is listed as baking - that's why we bought it, but that's not true, you can't bake anything in it unless you put it in the oven. It's a classic slow cooker. For example: chicken = 6 hours and it will be stewed. So far so good except for the baking.
