In terms of speed, it's pretty cool. On 100Mbit, WiFi on 5G is around 90Mbit, but the firmware is not polled. When using the NTP server, I was unable to set the correct time, whether the Automatic Daylight Saving Time is on or off, it still shows an hour less. If you set a time schedule for WiFi, e.g. Turn WiFi on at 7am and off at 11pm, the router goes crazy and WiFi just turns off no matter what time it is. I did this from my mobile phone using the Thomson WIFI Manager app. The subsequent commissioning is quite annoying. You need to connect to the router with a LAN cable, and then cancel the Plan in the settings. But it's not just a case of unticking to enable the plan. The software won't let you go. There is an option to set up 10 different schedules and they all have to be set so that they do not overlap in time.
It's an upstairs router for the kids, so that's the feature I wanted to turn on for them. Now I'm considering returning the router and going to the proven ASUS classic. For example Asus RT-AX53U. It has only 3 LAN ports, but I don't use them upstairs anyway, and instead of the 4th LAN port it has WiFi 6.
If someone is looking for a main home router, I would probably invest in the ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2.
