My experience is with the v2 version, it is possible that you will buy the v4, with TP-Link you never know what you will get. There are a bunch of different hardware revisions under the same name. Basically, it's a different product every time.
Easy installation
Clear application
Good signal coverage
Integrated antennas - no need to tighten, you won't break them
The app is too simple - it lacks basic and important options, which TP-Link doesn't want to add - it's been handed over to developers for almost 4 years, but nothing really happens.
You do not select a wifi channel
You can't completely disable the DHCP server in AP mode - you can only switch it to Smart mode, which sometimes doesn't work properly and activates even if you have another working DHCP server on your network.
The device completely collapsed after half a year - it started to behave like a router even in AP mode, all network traffic went through it, the wrongly set DHCP server could not be edited to the correct values
Adding a new Deco unit cannot be done by cable. Only over wifi - you have to be within range of the first device and move the second one to that location after adding it to the mesh. Detection of traffic over the cable is quite slow, which causes significant problems with network stability at first, which will disappear within 10 minutes.
SSH access for advanced device configuration is missing
The device is quite slow - it starts up very slowly, you need to keep this in mind during initial setup and after a power failure

Super device. I quickly created a reliable home network for all the client's devices. The final stumbling block to the decision was the need to connect Wifi cameras around the perimeter of his house that did not reach the central router.
