So far I have had the X60 for a very short time. I had to get one unit, as one of my two P9's had gone (about a year and a half).
I use it in AP mode. However, the entire Deco system is very easy to pair and use between different units to share a mesh. It is therefore not always necessary to buy whole sets or the same models of units.
