I have been using two RE450s for the second year now and standard operation is trouble free. The device does not even at max. WiFi performance doesn't overheat - maybe it's a tax for the slightly larger size. For me, maximum satisfaction, although slightly muddied by minor security flaws in the operation of two independent LANs from one Router (Turris Omnia)

option (define) "night" mode, when LEDs are switched off
parallel operation of two separate networks on one Router (one on 2.4 and the other on 5), one of which is without internal LAN (guest mode set on the router) will mix both LANs at the output behind the RE450 (even though each has a different IP range).
In the end, both networks see the same thing - which is a big security risk! But 99% of the time nobody will use this -- one LAN per band.
