Unlike the earlier model, it is one piece and therefore better water resistant. The battery lasts longer.
Compared to the previous model, it does not have a quick release buckle. The rubber mount will probably get damaged quickly.
By being one piece you cannot use a spare battery. But this is partly offset by the longer endurance.
