After starting the car, the camera turns on and pretends to record the whole journey, but the card is stored e.g. just the first minute of the ride. Every time I needed camera footage, I found I didn't have it. That's a really unpleasant surprise.
I'm going to complain about the camera - it pretends to record, but the footage is missing
In a year of use, I have had the opportunity to experience several critical moments and every time I wanted to look back at the footage, I was disappointed that it was not saved. The camera stops recording and saving continuously when the memory card is full, while pretending that everything is OK.
After the third claim, when I tried the original settings and got a new camera, I asked for a refund.

I used the camera for about 14 days and from the beginning I had a problem every day with the GPS signal after leaving the garage. The GPS caught on after approx. 20 km of driving. Then it started having a problem with regular shutdown after about 30 minutes (at regular intervals) and after another 3 minutes it turns on again. After the claim was acknowledged (it was returned to me on 22/08/2022), the firmware was flashed and the GPS module replaced according to the service protocol. The problem with the GPS persists and today (two days after the complaint) the camera again started to overheat and turn itself off.

It is possible to change the SSID and password for WiFi in the application recommended by the supplier, but after turning the camera on / off, the camera only does not remember this setting and the default SSID and password is set again. According to the manufacturer, this is a “feature“ of the application and the camera is fine. She did not intend to do anything about it (statements of support from [email protected])
If necessary, the camera is very poorly controlled. Why? It has no external power connector other than the one that sticks in the car to the windshield. So if you disconnect the camera from this connector, the camera will turn off. This means that you have to control the camera pinned to the glass, which is not at all comfortable.
When compared to the old TrueCam A4 from 2018, this new one doesn't hold up, except in higher resolution and the ability to connect a rear camera. The camera records a large image in 4K, but in FullHD only the middle quarter of that image is at the same image quality. The camera holder is not a suction cup, but an adhesive tape, so you have to place the camera the first time, then you can't move it. The camera is average overall, but the price does not match the quality.

There is no app. Only the possibility to connect via mobile app, which will show you the recording. The camera must be connected in the vehicle. Unfortunately it is not possible to connect to an external power supply.
