A car camera never gets lost. It's better to have a little insurance in case something happens. Of course, I know it's not full proof and the police can reject the footage, but I don't think that happens much. The camera is small, holds well in the mount and the picture is very nice.

I thought that TrueCam was a guarantee of a quality product, unfortunately I was wrong, and if only I lost money on the camera, but twice I needed a recording from the camera and it just did not record! In the second car, we have a noname camera including a rear camera for 1300 CZK and it has been working without problems for 4 years, this has never happened to me with TrueCam. Before that I had an A5 and an A7, but after a while they also started to get angry. I don' t think I' ll be going to TrueCam again. The picture is of good quality, but they probably set it up so that after a while they start making mistakes.

Terrible controls, settings, spilled tea, the display could be touch, the camera can record 1440p but only if the front camera is connected after connecting the rear camera is the recording in 1080i watch out for it.
The night recording is grainy to be cleaned through a third party apk and even so it does not match the alleged product video from the recording see the camera description link on youtube.
Lessons for the next time to avoid this manufacturer.

I'm giving 4* as the GPS is not that important to me, otherwise I would have to give a lower rating as it obviously doesn't track, so the current speed indicator is quite off and the radar database is offline, so considerably out of date, although I have updated to the latest version (both FW and the database itself). The loud speed alert is quite annoying, I recommend not even turning it on.
As far as image quality is concerned, under ideal lighting conditions, the license plates are clearly legible even at the edge of the recording. In the case of night recording, e.g. In low light conditions, the license plate is only readable in the center of the recording with good illumination from your car's headlights.
The key is to use it with a CPL filter, without it there is no point in using it, the flare will kill any detail. All the more reason why I still can't understand that it's not an integral part of any camera. Here keep in mind that the CPL filter must be properly rotated before you start complaining that it doesn't work =)
I don't see the difference between H.264 and H.265 codecs - both are qualitatively the same and the files are the same size.
I find a bit of a problem with the transitions between each track, because even though it is a smooth ride, there is always a few seconds pause between each track (both audio and video). I do not wish anyone to get into a blind spot by a great coincidence and thus lose important evidence. Personally, I have it set to 5-minute recordings, but lately it's been doing several 1-minute ones in a row and then resuming again after five minutes (as I mentioned, acute FW).
So far, I'm convinced that the acquisition is worthwhile. I don't use the automatic motion or vibration detection features when parking, nor have I purchased a rear camera yet. At this point, I wanted a camera that would just film what was happening in front of the car and it delivers. As far as image quality goes, I don't think you can get better for the money, at least from what I've seen in other people's reviews and video footage.

When I manage to install the camera on my mobile, so I can set it up then, I hope I'll be happier. I'm at a loss.
I don't understand that you can't disconnect the camera with a button (why hasn't anyone thought to make a cable switch yet). I have a constant voltage outlet in my car (as long as the battery is running), so if the camera is in the mount, it just films and films.
