The size is just right for my 14-inch IdeaPad.
It would definitely be too big for a smaller laptop. Even on mine you can tell that it is a cheap case, in which the laptop does not fit tightly. It's more like putting a laptop in a bag than a sock, which would suit me better.: D
It stinks. It'll probably wear off, but now with the new one, it's quite annoying.
