I may be worried about the hinges of the trunk, it's very strong, but in yesterday's gusty wind I was very glad for it. I finally didn't get a slap on the back.
Since it is not yet covered, the closing puts a little more resistance, but nothing tragic, at least my kids won't rub the trunk.

Octavia 2 liftback before fl without steering after installation of only one lifting OK, no hinges break, as others write. But it has no closing aid, so I have to reach into the trunk from the top to close it.
It's working as it should.

The first time you open it, when the oil has had time to equalize pressure, everything is fine, but if you open the trunk again in the next half hour before the oil overflows, the strut shoots up without any braking all the way and jerks the whole lid. It started to wobble the strut mounts in my castellum. I have already ordered other struts and these will go in the trash.
