Compared to outdated FM transmitters with all their problems, this is a very big step in the quality and reliability of wireless transmission. In the absence of a switched car socket, the FM trans always had to be manually disconnected. Here it can be plugged into a USB radio and everything turns on and off with the radio. I don't have to set anything up, turn it on, turn it off. Everything is automatic when you turn on the radio.

I just plugged it in yesterday and it's fine. When testing phone calls, the sound is acceptable on the other side. As far as music playback is concerned, you can't complain either. What I do have reservations about is the really thin cable and the cable material doesn't feel very durable, we who grew up on wired headphones know what a pain in the ass a jack cable can be. So I bought an extension cable to make sure it doesn't break/break
