Getting a working signal out of it can be tricky. The cable must not be bent sharply anywhere. Compared to shorter cables, my older TV also had significant latency and I couldn't get resolutions above 720p to work at all. Next time I would choose an active cable for playing movies from PC to TV or projector at a distance of 15m, for some people chromecast may be a solution.
