My Acer Aspire 5 does not have DP and the BenQ external monitor does not have HDMI. Rather than throwing away a working monitor (even if it's not the newest) or buying an Acer dock, this is a good enough deal for a few sixpence. I don't have it for gaming, so I don't worry about refresh rates etc. I just wanted to connect an adult monitor to the notebook, on which the notes/tabs are clearly visible and for this purpose I have nothing to complain about.

Due to the problematic UCB-C connector, I can' t completely recommend it. 90% is great, but.
When it works, the image from the Mac Mini 2020 / M1 to the Dell P3421W is absolutely great.
Very sensitive USB-C connector - just a little shader and the image falls apart and there are artifacts in it. Cuckold a little and everything is OK. I don' t know if it' s a cable or a port in the Mac Mini, but it happens quite often.
