I was looking for a lifestyle projector that wasn't meant to replace my TV and not necessarily be anchored in one place. At the same time, I wanted it to have a good image quality. Image-wise, it's quite satisfactory, but the mobility is worse. The biggest minus is the impossibility of correcting the position of the image to the side or zooming, indeed at all. Only trapezoidal, which I've had quite a fight with. So you have to adjust the placement of the projector to the room, instead of having it at least do it partially by itself in software. The picture is otherwise very good, especially in terms of colour. It can also take a big picture from a small distance, e.g. from about 2.7m it was 3.5m diagonal. But this is already at the expense of image quality, the ideal was about 2.5-2.7m diagonal. It also depends from what distance you yourself are looking. There's a lot of stretching out there. The brightness itself is also perfectly sufficient even in the daytime, as long as there is no direct sunlight. Great at night. But then there is a second big minus and that is the user interface. It looks outdated, it's simple, but I couldn't get most of the apps in there. Netflix runs at 700x500p! I really can't watch it, Disney+ or HBO didn't find it. Amazon Prime worked, but there was no English like on TV or mobile and you couldn't adjust the projector image or the language/subtitles of the movie itself. In addition, even on strong enough wifi, the picture was occasionally jerky in motion. The only thing that ran without problems was youtube. Which also the only one I managed to mirror from an Android phone. Really annoying and a big disappointment for the price. When I plugged the external HDD into the USB, the sound didn't come on for all movies, it said unsupported audio format. In addition, the 4K file image seemed to be slowing down, it had something to do with it. So bad, too. The remote is infrared, so even when you're sitting next to it it doesn't catch and you have to annoyingly aim accurately. The power cord is quite short and thick, I don't know how it would look on the ceiling. On the other hand, I must praise the sound itself, really excellent, surround and can serve as a BT speaker on its own. The quality of workmanship is also of a high standard. The projector was also well packed, I have not seen such a layer of protective material elsewhere. However, for my needs of more frequent portability, for the cottage, bedroom, garden, it is not suitable and the general compatibility and user interface are pathetic. That's why I returned the projector after a few days.
