the light works as the manufacturer intended
The description of Alza is misleading. The phrase "adjusting the intensity to suit your current needs" does not at all mean that you set how strong the light will shine, nor how long. This is because the light is on full for only 15 seconds and goes off if it does not detect any further movement. It forces you to make meaningless movements so that the light doesn't go out again. Or you can switch it to dim mode, but it's always on, all night long. It can turn on full when motion is detected, or remain dim. But it's still on. Who would want a spotlight, even a dim one, on all night in a night garden?

recharges and works reliably despite the cold and frost
even though it blows all night, and it's scanning the branches on the tree, and it lights up all night, it still works and manages to recharge during the day (even in winter). so reliable
when there is wind, it detects the movement of branches on the tree (but I guess every motion detector does)
