In addition, Alza matched the price of its competitors. We replaced the ironing board after 24 years and it really is a shift. Larger ironing surface and especially the surface. It really blows off steam and generally irons 90% of the clothes on both sides "from one side". So just iron from one side. The board does not bend, even though the ironing surface is thin. We bought the ironing board for Christmas, because of the space for the steam iron. I must admit that I didn't have a good feeling about the storage space for the steam iron - I would have expected a bit more material (for how much a full steam iron weighs), but in the end it was fine. The problem is how the legs are welded to the structure. There are only two point welds. One of them didn't last, cracked and the whole ironing board rolled (with the steam iron) to the ground. Fortunately, no harm happened to the iron, children or wife. But personally I don't trust this brand anymore. I would expect such a thing to be much better welded.
