after a while, when you wash the blanket, the inner wires that heat the blanket start to loosen and turn blue, into small knots, etc. such places start to get extremely hot and the blanket can start to burn or burn extremely hot. I don't even think there is a blanket that would solve this, the technology would have to change. so it's kind of cool, but. be sure not to fall asleep in it or leave it unattended
