I have it in a covered stand, since then I haven't had to deal with chewed up cables from martens. But occasionally, marten spores do show up in an indoor stand, so I don't know if the installation of the device is the only factor.

the scarecrow does not work for me, the martens in the garage have preeee, without any effect
the battery life on new batteries (no possibility of plugging into a socket) 1-2 months as stated in the product manual absolutely does not fit, the new batteries in the device were less than 3 weeks and can be changed for another. not to mention that there are 4 in the device (if they should be changed once a month so the battery consumption per year is 48. horror)

a few days after installation 10/2023 I added a photo trap out of curiosity and the photos and videos of the marten are very nice. I had a bitch take a shit on my camera once: D and the car wasn't even there
I bought an adapter at least for the feeling that it will be there permanently, but I don't give it much
11/2023 - 7x marten visit, so I envy those who review positively and are lucky

We have martens living under the roof of the family home. Every night they made an unbelievable mess and destroyed the insulation. The very next day after the installation of the scarecrow, it was quiet and even now, two weeks later, there is no sign of the martens. It's working.
Small, lightweight, you can place it anywhere.
It's battery-powered, I didn't have to pull electricity under the roof.
It does not have a low battery indicator.
Neither the adapter nor the wall mount is included, but this is mentioned in the product description.
