On the seat they hold like nailed, on the backrest thanks to the string over the headrest.
The Velcro behind the backrest does not hold much, the manufacturer relied on the material and did not come up with a counterpart of Velcro.

On the plus side, in my car the shirt covers the whole seat part of the seat. Relatively high quality material in this price category
Otherwise, I'd recommend it. And I don't completely misunderstand other users' reviews at all. I guess I'm not that demanding a customer. The cover is made in Germany and is nowhere near as bad as I feared after reading the product reviews.
