My existing Samsung M3 Portable 1TB drive with a mileage of 290 days and a total of 26835 start/stop cycles was starting to limit me in size. My modest little offline Neflix with 1200 movies wouldn't fit 1TB so I had to buy another 8TB. I bought it for 5 399 CZK and I have it for two and a half years and it is still as new.
My max temperature was 59°C and the average was between 30 - 41°C
The drive has been running for exactly 90 days so far no problems. Total number of start/stop cycles 1094

It's not a minus but it bothers me a bit (shiny plastic everything is visible on it )

The disk is perfect, the connection is without problem. I use it for continuous data backup. I have had the same brand so far with half the capacity, but otherwise with maximum satisfaction, so there was no reason to think about buying the same brand. I recommend it.

In the photos the HDD is left in the original foil - it is placed on the table behind the PC case, where it is not visible, so there was no need to remove the foil
