It was very difficult to install as it still wouldn't pair with the app, finally it helped to hard disable the 5 Ghz wifi and switch security from WPA2/WPA3 purely to WPA2, then the pairing went through and after reverting the values on the router back it still works. The connection to the gate, on the other hand, was very simple and succeeded on the first try. I hope I don't have to set it up again and that I just use it. As a drawback I see that it can not be integrated into Apple HomeKit, it would be easier to say Hey Siri, open the gate than to search for a useless application where there is and will be a single thing. Hopefully we can get it up and running eventually, at least through HomeBridge.
