The watch does not have a fully developed software, some functions are not available, but this can be improved with further software versions. The initial setting of the watch is not entirely simple. Anyway, I haven' t found a better device in the whole world - I' ve been looking for half a year. In short, despite all the shortcomings, there is no better watch for healthy people with dementia (for that reason, I sent it to a family member). So this is the only device in the world, out of all the possible ones that exist, which in some way actually works and the localization is usable.
Human localization really works
Many functions can be remotely controlled via smartphone from anywhere in the world
It includes a camera that can be turned on remotely
Video call option
The possibility of recording and timing voice reminders - for example, for medicines
The battery status can also be verified remotely
It uses GPS for localization and mobile signal triangulation (it is logically much less accurate there, but can be used where GPS cannot be used, at least to determine the approximate location)
It is also possible to switch on oxygenation and pulse measurement remotely, so that it can be measured whether the person in question is alive
The watch can also be reset remotely
Fall detection
The watch can be completely locked, so the wearer cannot accidentally control it and “dislodge“ it
Displaying the position of the primo in question on the map
The only watch suitable for people with Alzheimer' s/dementia in the world
Setting the radius of the distance from the starting point, after leaving it automatically informs the selected number that the person in question has left the area
can be set to permanently send information about location/movement (but it drains the battery a lot)
Unqueried software
Complex initial setup, especially for non-technical types
In the case of an incoming video call, the receiver must accept the call by pressing manually, it would be better if the call was connected automatically, people with dementia may not be able to accept the call themselves
The battery could last better
In China (it is made there) it costs 70% less
The speaker could be stronger so that the voice could be heard more and the microphone more sensitive, but apparently for such a small device it is probably beyond the technical possibilities. If the receiver holds his hand with the watch in front of his head, it works well (sufficient speaker volume. and the sensitivity of the microphone), if the hand is lowered, the microphone already receives the voice while asleep, the sound is still audible, but the hearing aid may already have a problem. It is OK for a normal person to put the watch in front of their head and talk into it, but people with dementia can leave their hand hanging and not talk into the watch, then it is difficult to talk. But I think there is no technical solution.
Accurate localization takes quite a long time (from the time you enter a request to locate the watch, it takes about 3 minutes before the position is accurate)

They don' t have a “senior design“
It fits well
I thought I was a fairly technically proficient type, but this watch made us quite busy. We installed the application on several attempts before we figured out how to enter the numbers for the sos button at all, it also took us quite a while.
they only send a notification about a fall - the person they are supposed to warn will hardly notice it
before the sos call starts, you have to hold the button seriously long enough, it could be a bit of a problem for a senior who has fallen somewhere
eventually they started discharging after a day without anyone doing anything on them, so complaints and refunds
