I tried the lamp for 14 days. It's nice, the connection to google home is great, but it doesn't light up enough for my taste, which is a pretty important detail for a lamp. I would expect from a "bedside" lamp that if I put it on my bedside table, I would be able to read with it in bed. It was readable, but not enjoyable. And I'm just talking about the cold white. As soon as you change the colour to a warmer white or a completely different colour, the maximum brightness goes down rapidly.
In the description they state a luminous flux of 2-400 lumens. I kind of expected that 400 might be low. What disappointed me even more was the opposite extreme. I don't know how to imagine two lumens, but I was expecting some kind of a maze that could shine by the kids' bedside all night so they'd know where they were when they woke up. At minimum brightness, the lamp shines so much that you don't want it near your head when you sleep.
Although the lamp is excellent in all other respects, making it shine is a crucial criterion for me.

It doesn't support 5 GHz WiFi (but that's probably not a "smart thing"), so if you have one WiFi at home and both bands (2.4 and 5 GHz), when you first start the lamp you have to turn off the 5 GHz band for a while, the lamp connects to 2.4 GHz and then you can turn on 5GHz again and everything works.

The product description states that you can set various automatic scenarios, as you usually can with smart products, unfortunately the Mi Home application is completely unusable, you cannot create any scenarios in it. It pretends it should work, but it doesn' t, it just keeps sending you from one pointless screen to another. I recommend checking the app store for recent Mi Home reviews before buying. I am returning the lamp for this reason.

unusable if you intend to control the lamp or perhaps automate something in the spirit of Smart Home, the application is stupidly made in some areas (brightness and color control) and completely non-functional in some areas (creating automatic scenarios)
