the owl in the first purchased piece flickered unpleasantly at high light intensity (advertised), the second piece (chocolate) no longer flickers
it doesn't respond to crying, more like squealing, clapping, hitting things. It doesn't respond to some loud noises and just tap it with something and it lights up.

It did not meet expectations, we keep it only because the children like the design and I have not found an alternative on the market.
The kids like it
Battery or cable operated
The off button is on the bottom front - because the weight of the lamp is extremely light, the placement of the button is extremely poor. In order to prevent the lamp from falling over and at the same time to switch it off manually, it is necessary to hold it with the other hand. Much better would be a button in the middle of the ring at the top.
Too light and unstable
You have to buy a plug adapter (or scratch it out of an older device at home)
The place sensor works but it doesn't work - it works if I knock something nearby or there is more noise, but it doesn't react to the place itself - you have to turn this function off during the day, otherwise it lights up all the time when playing in the room.
The blue light is not pleasant (we have both at minimum brightness) and the light of the ring is too cold - it would need a warm white and some,, warmer shade of owl (which is brown in the offer, but beware, it has no possibility of connection to the socket, only to batteries)
I would say that the price does not correspond to the functionality, 500 would be the ceiling.
