Satellite converter (hereinafter referred to as LNB) are arranged at the focal point of a parabolic antenna. The device receives a signal from the satellite, amplifies it and converts it to a lower frequency. The converted signal is further processed and transferred to the satellite receiver via a coaxial cable.

LNB (Low Noise Block) is a device for receiving the high-frequency satellite signal from a satellite, the signal being amplified and converted to a lower frequency.
