Roller Skate Wheels


Wheel hardness ranges between 74A-100A. Softer wheels (78A-82A) are suitable for beginners. They grip surfaces better, absorbing any bumbs, but are also slower and wear out more rapidly. Harder wheels (82A or more) are suitable for more advanced skaters. They are faster and last longer, but they absorb less vibration, making them more difficult to handle. 

Roller skate wheels range between 44 to 110 mm in diameter. Smaller wheels offer greater stability but are slower. Larger wheels are generally faster and better suited to uneven terrain.
