Kompresor je zariadenie, ktoré je súčasťou niektorých výčapných zariadení. Kompresor vháňa do suda s pivom vzduch s ktorým potom pivo stráca svoju penivosť. Kompresor pracuje úplne automaticky, teda nie je nutná ďalšia prípadná manipulácia.

Výhodou je prevádzka bez ďalších nákladov a malá nasýtenosť plynom CO2. Na druhej strane je nevýhodou malá trvanlivosť piva, teda by sa do 24 hodín od narazenia sudu malo skonzumovať, pretože potom stráca svoju chuť.
